The Log Cabin Inn is a Kenora Bed & Breakfast nestled on a red pine ridge on Longbow Lake with access to Lake of the Woods. It is a private and secluded log home with a beautiful view of the lake from each room. Wake up to the aroma of freshly ground coffee, home baking, wild blueberries and eggs from our own home range chickens. In the winter after a day of skiing or snowmobiling warm up to the cozy wood stove or soak in the hot tub.






The Treadways were one of 2 couples chosen to spend a year in the Manitoba prairies like the pioneers of 1875. This was documented on History Channel and National Geographic called Pioneer Quest. They suffered ill health, barn burning, mosquitoes, desperate loneliness, coldest December in 120 years, BUT they reaped peacefulness and a serenity that comes with a slower pace of life.

The Treadways have three grown sons, Daniel, a professional extreme skier; Daryl a high school teacher and David, www.davetreadway.com, a wakeboard instructor. The Treadways have traveled extensively around the world helping out organizations and missions.
